They feature a GX hydrocolloid barrier which is designed to be both flexible and gentle on the skin. The oval-shaped barrier is tapered, thicker around the stoma whilst being thinner around the external edges.Dansac Nova Colostomy Bags feature a smooth and soft water repellent backing, created to help control moisture. They also feature a reduced pouch area above the barrier which helps to prevent slouching.The NovaLife filter in the Dansac Nova Colostomy Bag allows gases to escape, preventing the pouch from ballooning.
