HBK's very own Tom Covell recently completed a 5 day training at Staking University in Manteno, IL to become a Certified Locator Trainer. Staking University has delivered locating equipment training courses for over 600 client companies throughout the U.S. since 1999 with the goal of providing hands on instruction that benefits all levels of utility locators. Staking University's classes are a combination of classroom and practical training lessons that are taught at a live cityscape environment, with both live and abandoned utilities which requires putting locating theory into practice. Tom's certification will enhance HBK's ability to provide locators with proper technique, support, and continued education for all locating staff.
