The polishing cloth will remove tarnish from silver and gold. It is impregnated with an anti-tarnish agent to give a lasting shine. It should not be used on pearls. We lovingly handcraft our jewellery in sterling silver and gold-filled, with freshwater pearls. Gold filled is a thick layer of carat gold (around 100 times more gold than gold plated), meaning it lasts much longer without tarnishing and stays kind to sensitive skin.
