Made in the USA by Master Luthier Tim Teel Teel Guitar Works - prototype From the ground up, this new ultra-thin acoustic electric guitar is designed for ultimate comfort, playability and versatility. Based on a classic guitar profile with a newly designed cutaway, the 24.750” scale length provides a familiar foundation. The innovative body creation is unique in that its carved from a block of wood including all internal bracing and structural supports. The internal carving also uses a unique texture that eliminates standing sounds waves yielding a rich yet powerful acoustic tone. The soundboard uses a traditional X brace but modified to optimize the thin body design. Top bracing is tone tensioned to add stability and tonal projection.
