Metal studding lines the outside edge of two welt pockets as well as all along the outside edge of the hood in addition to 3" long Mongolian black faux fur trim. Back detailing features victorian corset style adjusting for a fitted bodice look. 3 rows of military style snap detailing add visual impact over the front zipper closure. An adjustable belt featuring a large silver O ring finishes off this decadent Victorian Gothic black wool coat. An ideal staple go to coat for shopping your favorite outdoor Fall market, hitting up a cult classic movie at your local box office, strolling the woods at dusk, a midnight séance, or a night on the town! The cut of this Victorian/Gothic jacket is designed shorter in the front (mid-thigh) and longer in the back (about calf level) with flare built into its pattern. This swing coat style is effective at creating a more fitted silhouette over the bodice, while gradually getting looser as it progresses towards the hem and providing more movement over the hips for comfortable wear. This is more of a fitted jacket style. There is about 3.5-4.5" ease of room to the measurements (depending which end you fall more too for each specific size) If you would like a looser fit for wearing over multiple layers, and you fall on the upper edge of the sizing I would suggest ordering up a size.
